Lagoon

I let my oldest baby bug go to lagoon with a bunch of friends for 6th grade day... UGH! They had a great time, loved being all by themselves and I thanked the Lord every time I dialed or texted the girls... Only 40-50 times. lol I can't believe how much a cell phone can keep you in touch and keep the worrying to a minimum. I can say that I would do it again because she has never done anything to make me not trust he r. (It's just that I don't trust anyone else...)

Dinners - Week of May 17th

Monday - (Game night) Roast Beef BBQ sandwiches
Tuesday - Chicken over curly noodles
Wednesday - (Game night) Club style turkey enchiladas
Thursday - If Joe is home Saucy chicken and florets (if not mac-n-cheeze)
Friday - Left overs???

Remarkable Soul of a Woman

I have just finished reading Bro. Uchtdorf's book for mothers, The Remarkable Soul Of A Woman. I loved it. So many things we have been told over and over, its ok to feel inadequate, discouraged, or weary as long as we keep doing our best and striving to be better moms, prayerful in all we do and be creative. Anyone want to borrow it??? I read it in 20-30 minutes.

Baby Chevy

Angie had baby Chevy on Monday May 10th at 1:37 he weighed 7lbs and he is soooo cute, tons of black hair, long fingers and he hardly cried. There is nothing more amazing, scary, exciting or beautiful as watching the miricle of a baby coming to this earth. We are sooo happy to have another cousin... way to go Angie and Ty. We love you!

Weekend with grandma

I hope the kids are having fun with Grandma JR and Grandpa Kerry at Trisha's Race cause I am BORED out of my freakin mind..... Trevin and I have had a nice relaxing weekend and Joe just got back from Scout Camp so we're off to dinner...
I took Trevin to Target to get some pictures taken (since Angie is busy with a 4 day old... Just Kidding) I can't believe Trevy is almost 8 months old. He is getting so big and he's always busy and getting into something. I LOVE IT!!!
He has just started to crawl. He eats the blanket ties just like Traeden use to. He loves crackers and suckers, and I don't think I could kiss him anymore and then I find myself doing just that.

Week of May 10th Dinners

Monday - GAMES!!! What you need to eat.
Tuesday - Cabbage veggie hamburger stir fry
Wednesday - Health and Safety Hot Dogs
Thursday - Fajitas
Friday - KIDS and JOE are outta here!!!! Chocolate and Diet Coke for breakfast lunch and dinner
same goes for Saturday...

Baseball games

We started softball this week and our first games were rained out. I signed up Kendra , Kylee and Traeden thinking that they would all be on the same night, same park, and some at the same time so I could walk from game to game... I get the schedules and NOOOO they are at 3 different parks ( throughout Roy and West Haven) and more than half are at the same time... ugh... Remind me I love to be at the Baseball field and oh ya I am a taxi...

I have wanted to blog for over a year and today I sat at the computer with my baby asleep and 4 year old at preschool and I realize I have 10 minutes to myself. so here goes....
I want this to be a family journal, memory keeper, thought holder and fun place for me to write down all the funny things my kids say, the many ideas that pop in and out of my head on a daily basis and to keep track of experiences that our family has that one day I know I'll forget.
